Online and Open Learning has led us to transform teaching, the theme of Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts and other powerful web tools for the classroom, created by Will Richardson. I have been led to integrate the concepts suggested by the constructivist learning theory in an open and online learning environment. As I noted on Zaria's blog, my hope is that I will be able to cut through the prototypes and curriculum and school objectives as i introduce these important learning tools.
This week I spoke to many of my classmates on line including Zaria, Hugo, and Robert and responded to many of the discussions posted. I keep thinking that if Educational technology students within higher learning were allowed to plan the curriculum, there would be no need for teaching to the test. The curriculum would be flawless as students are guided to fulfill their individual learning needs.
This course has become a motiviating factor for me to complete the three KAMs, so that I will be able to complete this program quickly in the hopes of effectively practicing guiding students to a successful life in the digital age. Marcelle |
