Reflections = Week 11
Countdown! This is one of the few times, I really am not looking forward to a countdown. My school encourages creativity, so I have been fortunate enough to implement the educational and instructional tools gained in class throughout this course. This week, I had students completing simulation on the computer, on planetary.org, they enjoyed their trip on Mars and the way they were able to communicate with each while on the trip.

I spoke to Kathleen, Cherrina, Arlene, Mia and Dr. Powley this week. I tried to communicate with Robert, and a few others. Kathleen and I planned to play a game online, but had to reschedule. It is amazing that as you read the post on the discussion, there seem to be a kind of sync, thoughts are becoming closely related and there is so much respect given to each other. I am simply enjoying it. Marcelle

    Hi Marcelle,
    It has been an exciting ride this week. I have enjoyed trying out the game, sim/game, sim resources shared by our classmates. This is an area that I am passionate about because my students love computer games so much. If we could harness that interest and tie it to the curriculum standards that would be so AWESOME!

    Marcelle,

    Thanks for your comments and suggestions for introducing my colleagues to technology integration. I enjoyed interacting with you this quarter. It is amazing that I have had a number of the students in this course in other classes but we never connected like we did in this course. Thanks MSN Messenger!

    Good luck Marcelle. Hope we meet in another class.

    Hello Marcelle,

    I have to agree with you I have truely enjoyed the discussions, IM discussions, and the blogs. I want to use the Classlive and my web cam in the last week but it looks like it may not happen.

    This is my last course and I only have two residencies to go. If I do not get to speak with any of you again.

    I am looking forward to the countdown. I am tired of school but it is so useful I have to keep going. The simulations were cool!

    The count down has begun. How we just had a group from Brooklyn observe our classes. We use a talent development system. It has increased attendence, graduation and many other things.

    Marcelle,

    This was my favorite course so far at Walden. I enjoyed the practical applications of the technologies and the numerous examples from my peers. Overall, this was a great experience.

    See you in Cyberspace!

    James
